Pipet Sterilization Box

I realize that I probaby make the following statement in many of my blogs, but once again, heres another reason why I love my job.  I seem to find or learn something new everyday.

I had a customer contact me in search of a Pipet Sterilization Box.  It never dawned on me that we even carried this item, but naturally, this makes perfectly good sense.  How else can you sterilize your pipets without them  getting damaged?

The containers pictured to the left are constructed of Stainless steel, designed to provide resistance against high corrosion  during the sterilization process.  Multiple box styles  and sizes are available to accommodate a variety of pipet types.

  • Square (Pasteur):  5.1W x 5.1D x 15.2H cm (2 x 2 x 6″)
  • Square (Pasteur):  5.1W x 5.1D x 23.5H cm (2 x 2 x 91/4“)
  • Square                  :  5.1W x 5.1D x 41.9H cm (2 x 2 x 161/2“)
  • Round                  :  6.4Dia. x 41.9H cm (21/2 x 161/2“)

Made from type 304 stainless steel offer high resistance to corrosion.  Square canisters are available in three lengths, each 2″ square. Round canisters are 2 1/2″ diameter

The canisters can be purchased individually and are also available in packs and case quantities.

Bottom line, these boxes prove to be an ideal solution for preventing breakage of costly pipets and glass tubes during sterilization either by autoclaving or dry heat.
