Infrared Thermometer

Infrared Thermometer with Wireless PC Interface

Continuing with the theme from my last blog on Wireless Theremometers, Extech manufacturers a wireless, Infrared hand-held model that looks like something outside of Star Trek.

When placed on the base station, the meter will transmit a continuous temperature data to a remote receiver which you can connect to a PC, via a USB cable.  This is a Non-contact infrared thermometer which features a wide range, a high 30:1 distance-to-target ratio, built-in laser pointer for improved aim, and manual or automatic emissivity using Type K probe for accurate measurements on different surfaces.  The unit has built in memory with the ability to recall 20 readings.  A Max/Min/Avg/ Dif function and comes with the Transmitter Base, Remote Receiver, USB Cable, Type K Probe, Tripod, Analog Output Cable, PC Software, 9Volt Battery, 100-240 adapter and carrying case.
