Countdown Controller

4903427Here’s a nifty device that would come in handy for many of the laboratory tests and tasks that you might run.  A Countdown Controller/timer can be used to perform reproducible stirring, heating, or pumping funictions.  It is used for timed shutdown or start-up of apparatus during any test.

This timer pictured on the left is programmable in any one-minute interval from 23 hours, 59 minutes to 1 minute. Countdown mode turns any piece of equipment on or off at the end of a set time period, which eliminates scheduling time-of-day settings and reduces programming time. Time-of-day mode permits programming of 14 a.m./p.m. clock settings for each day of the week, up to 196 on/off settings per week.  It also has a manual override function allows equipment to be switched on/off instantly without disturbing the program.

4901097 For running multiple tasks at the same time, a Three-Channel Alarm Timer with Triple Display (pictured on the right),  will let you run three separate lab operations simultaneously. Unit also serves as a stopwatch and a time-of-day clock. Channels may be started individually or simultaneously and  you can program each channel from one second to 99 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds.  The unit has an adjustable alarm volume which allows for use in either a noisy or quiet environment.

The timers that I chose for this blog are only two of several that are available.  I encourage you to give our knowledgeable staff here at LabPlanet a call for assistance or additional information.
