FreeZone® Triad™ Freeze Dry Systems

4696444As mentioned in some of my previous blogs, if nothing else, the one thing I love about my job is, “It’s Not Boring”.  I wanted to talk about Freeze Dry Systems.  In particular, LabPlanet represents Labconco’s FreeZone Product Line. Working with a client earlier this week, prompted me to do a blog.  Knowing very little about Freeze Dry Systems prior to working with my client, I thought that this device was, excuse the pun, was pretty cool stuff.

FreeZone Triad Freeze Dry Systems are designed for lyophilization (freeze drying of blood plasma or other biological substances) stoppering tray dryer and sample freeze drying.  This unit has four sample valves on the left side.  The ability to freeze dry both types of samples can be run at the same time.

The chamber pre-freezes samples to save money and time, eliminating the need for a separate freezer and product transfer. The microprocessor controls up to five different ramping and holding segments to meet different temperature protocols.  It also has a hot gas defrost.

Unbeknownst to me prior to learning about the world of freeze drying, it is recommended that Freeze Dry Glassware , (as pictured on the right)

8016758be used with your samples.  Additionally, a Vacuum Pump with displacement of at least 144L/min is required.

This is also a range of accessories available including Shell Freezers, Tray Dryers, Drying Chambers and Product Shelves.

As always, our knowledgeable staff here at LabPlanet.com are happy to work with you in creating the system to meet your needs.

Your comments and suggestions are welcomed.
